While tourism isn’t particularly fashionable, jet setting is always in style! Today marks 6 weeks until I’m off to spend 10 days in two of the most romantic cities in the world – London & Paris! Apart from the food, architecture, history and accent, many ladies think about the elite european fashions when planning their first visit. Here are the shoes, basics, bags & classics I plan to pack in my suitcase for 10 days abroad.
Shoes – I learned my lesson walking New York City last April; walking shoes are your friend. My stylish and pocket-sized travel buddy, Sara of Sabby Style, is less than excited about substituting her pumps. Thankfully, Nikes and Converse do the trick while keeping things casual. Of course, not every occasion calls for a lot of foot traffic, so I’m packing versatile heels, my favorite boots & a pair of flats.
Classics – Packing for 10 days on the beach in Costa Rica is much more minimal than just packing classics. Preparing for Spring in Paris and London will require a little more layering. Still, I like to keep it simple and neutrals are the name of my game.
Outerwear – The weather is unpredictable in the Spring, so I like to be prepared rain or shine. Im all about adaptability with my packing habits. My moto and utility jackets go with everything and my new black wrap coat is super casual but also works great with evening wear.
Bagged and Tagged – Im not a fan of lugging around a big bag while traveling. I like the idea of having a small backpack that secures my miscellaneous items for a day walking around town. Other than casual, my go to is simple –> phone, key, ID, $
