I wouldn’t say luck is something I want to hang my hat on. Think of a situation when you felt lucky. Did you find $100, win a raffle, get out of a speeding ticket, end up with the perfect guy, find a puppy in the middle of the road, live by the beach or land your dream job?
When you start to believe in the impact you have on, not only your own life, but the lives of others, you start to do things differently. The light by which we see the world will determine whether our reward is in giving or receiving. Now, this doesn’t mean releasing positive mojo will help you find $100, but by putting faith in hope instead of luck…things begin to fall into place.
The life-adventures we seek are anything but normal, so believing in miracles makes “normal” the new “weird”. Hope can be hard to muster, especially when placed in people or luck. But hope securely placed has the ability to produce joy and perseverance. So, do you feel lucky? Well…do ya?
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: That if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
“I feel like everything I’m reading, hearing from people or through music, and experiencing in life are all happening for the first time because I view the world from such a different perspective…Everything that we do either has a positive, or a negative effect on the world, and I want to leave a tremendously positive impact while I’m here!” – Friend, Matt
“Playing often and bringing revival to any form of wimpy, tedious and tame Christianity. My prayer is that you both continue to be inspired->motivated by the Creator who is anything but bland.” – Friend, Caydin
