Bikini season is here! Can you feel it? I officially have Memorial Day tan lines and thankfully squeezed in this lower body + abs circuit before festivities began. If you’re anything like me, it can be really easy to consider busyness a workout, but skipping meals and exercise because we’re always on-the-go is no bueno for our health.
The best thing I ever did for myself – when it comes to workout goals – was not set the bar too high. I committed to at least 30 minutes, 3x a week. Pretty soon, I craved exercise every day and my workouts were lasting 45 minutes to an hour. If you’re a busy bee and time is sparse, 1.5 hours a week is a minor commitment with major benefits.
This was another one of those days when my couch was calling to me. I had been busy with projects and was just getting over a cold. My workout routine had fallen by the wayside and I was imagining all the work I could get done – Anyone who’s self-employed understands it’s easy to fall into a trap where there are no breaks. Time to punch the PAUSE button and have a “me time” timeout…or workout.

Check out the links below to shop my favorite gym gear. It’ll be a sad day when these Nikes are worn out; they’re incredibly light and comfortable. Paired with my favorite New Balance leggings (which feel like a second skin) and my flowy Free People tank, fitness never felt more comfortable! My FLPSDE Dual Chamber Water Bottle is always with me, too. I walk to the gym so if I’m not keeping my keys inside, there’s definitely some post-workout snacks in there.
Looks like a fantastic workout plan. That’s ‘s for sharing Michelle.
