Career Game – Working Alone & Creating A Cyber Squad

Working from home, with mostly digital clients, can feel pretty lonely if i’m not making an effort to stay connected. Since I am self-employed, and work solo most days, I like to incorporate background “noise” into my routine. Whether i’m listening to the…

Real Talk – New Year New Start

I’ve been doing some reflecting on last year, as most people do around the New Year, and I feel as sad as I do optimistic. Feeling motivated or optimistic is sort of synonymous with the first of anything, really –…

Travel Europe by Train with Eurostar

Earlier this year I had a life-changing travel experience. London and Paris were filled with pinch-me moments, for sure, but one memory I can’t shake is the Eurostar Train… We boarded in London at St. Pancras – I highly recommend arriving early to walk through this…

Checking In – Tailwind Jungle Lodge

Ben and I met on Christmas Eve 2010. (How has it b Ben and I met on Christmas Eve 2010. (How has it been 11 years??) 2 years later he proposed on Christmas Eve. As we come up on 9 years of marriage, I think back on our holidays together and, while they have all looked different on the spectrum of joy and challenge, there is strong evidence that we’ve been building something bigger than us. We’ve worked together, forgiven each other, added to each other, and given each other grace and love. We’re building a marriage that’s uniquely ours, and this is the greatest gift because it humbles me, makes me better, and comforts me daily. It gives even when I don’t recognize the gift. It’s evidence of God. Merry Christmas to me! ❤️
